Despite playing against a strong wind throughout the first half the Bulls never looked in any danger due to another excellent defensive display from Olly, Josh and Jordan, who dealt with the windy conditions and Chalfont's enthusistic forwards superbly. Max and Callum dominated the midfield with a powerful and energetic display and it was no surprise when Lewis popped up to grab his first goal midway through the half.
The Bulls doubled their lead before half-time when captain Diego Ollydona dribbled from his own half past five or six Chalfont players before slotting the ball home. It was super skill and a great goal!
In the second half, playing with the advantage of the wind, the Bulls spent most of the half around the Chalfont penalty box. They added two more goals, but were guilty of wasting many chances due to poor finishing and not passing to team mates. We will work on this in training and will be hoping for better performances from the forwards next week.
One forward who can be happy with his performance was hat-trick hero, Lewis. All three of Lewis's goals were due to good positioning and calm finishing. Lewis's third goal was the best. Lewis took up a clever position at the back post and when Max's corner flew past the Chalfont defenders, Lewis smashed it first time into the net. Well done, Lewis.
Another good all round performance from the Bulls.
